How to share my work
All visuals are © Improved by Design. The default licence is CC BY-NC-ND 4.0... you can share them freely for personal, non-commercial use, as long as you follow three conditions.
Credit properly
Tag Improve by Design or Alex McAdam on LinkedIn, and/or add a link to improvebydesign.com. A like or a share without visible attribution is not enough.
Share as-is
No cropping, no filters, no overlaid text, no added logos. The signature stays on. The visual stays whole. If you want an adapted or translated version, contact me first.
No commercial or promotional intent
No "follow me", "buy my product", or "subscribe" CTAs in the same post. The visual is the message... not a hook for something you are selling.
Specific situations
- Corporate presentation, training, or workshop
- If you are being paid to deliver it, it is commercial use. Contact me before using it.
- Newsletter
- One visual per issue is fine. You must credit and link. Not permitted in a paid newsletter tier. Let me know after you send it... I appreciate the heads up.
- Translations or adaptations
- Not permitted. Share the original as-is only. If you want a localised version for your language or context, get in touch.
- Inspired by... your own illustration
- If you are an illustrator creating your own version of a concept, go ahead. Just make it yours. Tag me when you share it... I'd like to see it.
